Wednesday's Saving Humanity Funding Summit

Seven health tech and biotech founders get four minutes each to pitch a jury of vetted, active investors this Wednesday, online and powered by Pitchtree.

This Wednesday morning, seven health tech and biotech founders will each get four minutes to pitch, followed by four minutes of questions, in front of a jury of vetted, active investors. The event is the Saving Humanity Summer Funding Summit's health tech track, run online and powered by Pitchtree in partnership with Venture & Capital International.

The tight format is deliberate. Four minutes to pitch and four minutes for questions doesn't leave room for a rambling founder story or a jury member half-listening while checking email. It forces the pitch down to what actually matters: the problem, the traction, the ask. That same discipline is what we push founders toward before they ever get a slot at one of these events, because a clear four-minute case beats a polished thirty-minute deck nobody has time to sit through.

The jury for this track isn't a list of names collected for optics. It includes active health tech and life sciences investors and operators such as Etre Venture Capital, GCWC, Aquillius Ventures, QNova, Global Bridge, the European Innovation Council's San Francisco office, AAPM's Innovation Center, Baker Donelson, Silicon Valley Forum, CleanLeap, JMoon Ventures, and a handful of independent business angels with real healthcare backgrounds, including a former CVS Health board member. Every one of them was invited because their mandate actually fits the founders in the room, which is the entire point of running an event this way instead of an open call.

On the founder side, the track brings together seven companies spanning diagnostics, medical devices, and biotech: continuous non-invasive blood pressure monitoring, a sterile intravenous port and syringe system, precision skin care diagnostics, phenotypic drug discovery screening, saliva-based early cancer and liver disease detection, a new-bone-formation therapy, and a novel Type 2 diabetes compound. Raises across the group range from roughly $1M to $10M.

If you want to watch founders and investors meet under exactly the conditions we've been writing about all week, and with the incredible support of Pitchtree.ai, the Zoom link is live and the room opens at 9am this Wednesday.
